vt overheating

I have a vt commodore hat after about 10 mins normal driving the temp goes right up to hot then after about 15 secs drops back to normal then up again and down so on and so on.please help

Possible faulty temp sensor or short in wiring between sensor and gauge

Check for coolent leaks and make shure the cooling system is bleed properly
