gto clutch problems
I have a 1972 gto that i am making a 4 speed with a borg warner T-10 4 speed tranny.....i have every thing to hook it up with a manual clutch but i want to know if there is an application to make it a hydraulic clutch?

Stock Car Products makes a conversion to a hydraulic T.O. bearing, but it's not "cheap". A T-10 is not a GTO transmission, but can be adapted if Chevelle shifter is used. It probably sn't up to the taks of hard driving behind the Pontiac. A "Super T-10" is much better, and Muncie is better, yet.
Some of the guys here into the later Camaros and Firebirds may be able to point you to a modern conversion for the hydraulic T.O. bearing. Ames Performance and Performance Years both carry all the clutch linkage necessary. Jim |
