92 grand caravan 3.3 Trans Leak
I have been noticing that i have been having a trans leak from van but i believe it only leaks when it is parked and when i shut it off it has been like this awhile but i don't think i am losing too much fluid because i have not ever had to add fluid. I think it is only dripping a few drops every time i shut it off. It is leaking from the lip under the trans i was wondering if i can maybe put some silicone or some sealant on the lip to seal the leak i took a picture of where it is leaking from here is the pic is it anything i should worry about?

Re: 92 grand caravan 3.3 Trans Leak
I am guessing that it is leaking from the transaxle cover. You could drain transaxle and remove cover and silicone seal it. I personally would check the bolts for tightness but don't over tighten and twist the bolts off. If you don't need to add any fluid then I myself would leave it alone. Just my opinion.

It's also possible it's the output shaft seal, or the torque converter seal. If it's not too bad, I would park it someplace where you don't care about driveway stains, and keep my eye on the fluid level. It's a '92, so it should leak something.
