Alarm problem.
Hey Towncar you are usually a big help, how can i fix an intermittent alarm sounding problem with nothing causing it to go off but a possible failing system. Is there a way to turn off the alarm permanently?

Re: Alarm problem.
Cool, a neighbor !! I'm working in Northridge near Balboa & Roscoe.
There's no practical way to disable the alarm in the 90's Lincolns. Pulling the module kills the car. Are you 100% sure you have all the door switches working? There's six of them in the 4 door models. One trunk, one hood, and 4 doors. I'm guessing the security module's door inputs can be permanently closed to make it think everything's always closed tight. Alternatively the output to the horns and lights should be accessible to nip 'n tuck too. 99.9% of these mystery alarm issues boils down to the door sensors. 50/50% trace to the passenger doors vs Hood/Trunk sensors.
