minor alignment ?'s
ok, well i just typed up this whole story to explain, then A/F timed out... so
ok i ignored the fact that my rear spring pads (rubber between the spring and the insulator on the shocks) were in bad shape (stock rims/tires) *see pics* went to check alignment(stock rims/tires) ordered camber kit accordingly (stock rims/tires) installed camber kit(stock rims/tires) got it alignmed(stock rims/tires) switched wheels (BBS/F1's) rear tires rubbed BAD!!! (BBS/F1's) swapped back wheels(stock rims/tires) mitsu had the pads i needed in stock, went and got them, installed them (stock rims/tires) **See pics** test fitted the BBS/F1 tires, and they no longer rub... Is another alignment needed? (NO FREE CHECKS HERE UNLESS AT LAMBS which... i'm not going to again...) or is the change to the suspension so minimal that the rears will still be in spec? i dont want any unnecessary wear on my F1's... they arent cheap... and i'm rocking the stockers right now until i know the rear suspension will be good with the F1's... the pads i needed to replace but regretfully didn't in the first place ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() what the things are MENT to look like... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() what you guys think? |

Re: minor alignment ?'s
I had no idea that that part would affect alignment. I noticed the ones on my car were trash when I put on my new springs/shocks, but I still didnt replace them, lol.

Re: minor alignment ?'s
i know that it definitely affected the rear ride hight about 1/2" which is just enough so my bbs's dont rub at all! even in hard corners while going from down hill to up hill (if that makes since...) but i dont want to DD on the bbs's if they are going to get eaten by the rear alignment being out...
