01 duals

Time to put duals on my truck but i have a couple of questions and want to hear opinions.

1: cut right before stock muffler, 2.75"=2.5" y pipe, 2 glass packs, duals

2: flowmaster 40series 3"in dual 2.5's

3: cut off collector at factory y weld on small x, true duals back into glass packs.

Also where do i go through on the driver's side, which side of the shock?

At work we have a bender and we carry cherry bombs, flowmaster and vx(flowmaster knock offs) and summit racing is 5 minutes away so i can run anything as long as there is room. Any pictures or advice would be great.

Re: 01 duals

Hello,is the exhaust factory??if so might want to save(exspecially if stainless)besides that 2 1/2'' should work well.are you keeping converter??running tailpipe inside shock & come out 3/4 way down bed would work.i'm sure you got ''bending card info'' so that should'nt be a problem with t-pipe & nothing special from manifolds back so Good Luck!!!

Re: 01 duals

yea have stock stainless, not touching converters. Factory pipe is 2.75 on my truck. now the only problem with the driver's side is the flex brake line is infront of the shock and the spare is too close on the other side.
