Lightbulb 2 things to look out for on your neon.

1.) If your A/C isn't running as cold or your car overheats quickly when A/C is on try this. Take a garden hose and spray full blast onto your condensor coils (Thing that looks like a radiator infront of the radiator, even if it doesn't look dirty or clogged dirt and pollen may be between the fins). Easiest way i found to get to it is to open the hood and spray from above the bumper. Spray strait into the coils not at an angle or you may fold over the fins. Let dry then take it for a drive with the A/C on.

2. if your fuel gauge isn't working you could try this.
1.) Empty fuel tank as much as possible
2.) Remove the two fuel lines from the Fuel pump and the plug.
3.) remove the fuel pump. (On my car i managed to slip it out past everything without having to lower or remove the tank.)
4.) remove the float arm.
5.) Use a cloth and wipe the little chip off that is near where the float arm connects.
6.) on the float arm find the 2 little metal prongs and bend them in just a bit more but not too much.
7.) reassemble the fuel pump and return it to the tank.

This isn't a sure fix for all fuel gauge problems but it was what was wrong with mine and its a lot easier then buying a new fuel pump/sending unit.
