2000 Tahoe a/c problem
My a/c worked good when I first bought the truck, and then gradually it did not get as cold. Had it serviced about 3 years ago, and it was so-so. It sometimes took awhile for it to get cold. Now the compressor doesn't come on at all. Also the blower motor went out and i TOOK IT TO THE shop and they said it was the switch. Every since that repair, the light on the a/c button doesn't light up and the compressor doesn't come on. Any advice would be appreciated

You need to see if the system has the correct amount of r134a. Unless you have a gauge set, you will need to have someone with gauges check it out.

I would think if the A/C light does not come on, then there is something they did not hook up. If the switch does not tell the A/C to come on then the compresser will never come on and you will not be able to check or add the r134. Which switch did the shop fix and what all did they have to remove to get to that switch? Once you get the compresser working again, then you will need to make sure you have enough r134
