1990 chevy 1500 overheating problems
ok one day was driving down the road for just a few mins and check gauges light came on and noticed my tempature gauge was ALL the way up....pulled over and noticed my resivor was overflowing and my radiator cap had fluid coming out of it....is this the result of a faulty radiator cap? it was running fine the day before no problems ...thermostat was just replaced ...system was just flushed.....had plenty of coolant but not overfilled

Re: 1990 chevy 1500 overheating problems
Even new tstats can go bad. Need to pull it and see if it opens in boiling water.
The water pump could be bad, the radiator is clogged, or even a hose collapsed. //2000CAYukon |
