2000 Accord V6 Problem

Hello everyone,
Here is my problem. The car suddenly went crazy . When I start the car the Idle is staying low and fluctuating and you can smell gasoline, it is like it comes out of the mufflers. The temp gauge is not moving at all too . When I try to drive the car I am not able to get over 20mph with 3000rpm and looks like it does not shift from 1st gear up . Hooked it up to the laptop and there are several codes showing.

P0108 MAP Circuit High Input

P0113 IAT Sensor Circuit High Input

P0118 ECT Circuit High Input

P0123 TP Sensor Circuit High Input

P1498 EGR Valve Lift Sensor High Voltage

Went to a mechanic yesterday but he did pretty much what I did, hooked it up to a computer, saw the codes and said the car needs to go to a dealer because he has no idea what might be the problem . He also said that it could be the Engine computer (I guess he meant the ECU) but if it is the ECU how come it detects the problem and shows the codes .

So, if someone could throw a light on the problem I will be very grateful.
Thank you very much

Re: 2000 Accord V6 Problem

I'd be looking for damage or dosconnect on an engine wiring harness, or a broken ground.

Look for dead mice also....they may have taken a liking to some hard to see wires.
