90 K1500 starving for gas, pops code 43 off and on
Hey all.
I'm finding out that this truck was once a 4.3, now swapped to a 350. It has the TBI and all, but I dunno if it's off a 350 or 4.3 though. Whoever did the swap did a decent job, but I'm still trying to get it to run like a V8 should run. I found out today that the fuel pump relay was bypassed by some freak who worked on the truck when Dad had it , so I know that needs fixing. Now are there any numbers I can look for on the fuel metering assembly to ascertain what this unit is calibrated for??? As for the Code 43, I have no clue how to fix that short of another coil. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
