Where is the horn?

My horn doesn't work, so I want to find the horn, hook it to a test light and see if that works. Then I'll replace it.. If not.. then something else is wrong lol.

Re: Where is the horn?

To get you a good answer, we'll need to know what model year you are working on. Many of the Taurii have a high pitch and a low pitch horns. Unless one was already not working and you didn't realize it, it would be unlikely both horns would fail at the same time. It will probably be easier to check the fuse for the horn than to get to the horns themselves, but again that may depend on model year.

Re: Where is the horn?

On the 1998 there is a horn in each front corner of the car. The low pitch is on one side and the high pitch is on the other side. Appears they are below the headlight assemblies. If I were you, I'd start at the horn relay and see if the relay coil is being triggered.

Re: Where is the horn?

On your '98, the horn relay is in the relay center box under the hood, near the battery.
