HI EVERYONE,
I have a 2002 Trailblazer/LT and I've noticed that there is a grinding/rubbing noise in my driver's side wheel. I thought that they might need to be balanced, so I took them in to be balanced. The weight/lead had come off the rim, so I thought that was the problem also. This was replaced, wheels were balanced and rotated and I still hear/feel this annoying noise!!!! At first, I could feel vibrations/movement through my steering wheel, but this has since stopped. This is very annoying and Im just afraid that my tire is gonna fly off at any given moment. I was told by someone that it could be the bearings or CV joints(whatever those are). Can someone please help me to figure out what this is??? Thank you very much..

Re: Grinding noise in driver's side wheel????!!!
More than likely a bad wheel/hub bearing, just did one in my shop, same symptoms. 225.00 part, 1.7 hours labor.
