2007 Tiburon Radio Problem
This is driving me crazy!!!
Here's what happens. It's a little long-winded but bear with me.The radio starts to sound loopy (I get sounds that sound like bubbles you would hear in a movie showing a submarine crusing along, and also get static but only sometimes, and I lose sound on the driver side speakers). I wack it and it occasionally goes back to normal. I hit a bump and it occasionally goes back to normal. I get to the point where I want to scream so I remove the radio and look for loose connections, frayed wires, bent pins, etc, and I find nothing. I re-install the radio and everything is fine for a few days, then it starts to happen again. I HAVE GONE THROUGH THIS ENTIRE CYCLE AT LEAST 5 TIMES!!! What am I missing? I even stuck my hand in the radio well with the radio on and shook every harness I could reach and I can't duplicate the problem right after the radio is re-installed. |

Re: 2007 Tiburon Radio Problem
Strange. I'd say when it starts doing it again take it in to your local dealer and let them try to figure it out. That's what warranties are for.

Re: 2007 Tiburon Radio Problem
It almost sounds as if you have a loose ground connection somewhere, or some ground noise through the radio ground...I would start there, or perhaps it's a short in the radio itself, only way to find out is to test it in another car with wires you know are good...thats the only way from my viewpoint anyway...
