64 Chevelle wiring question from a newbie
I recently purchased a 64 Malibu. I am replacing the wiring harnesses for the engine and for the front forward lighting. I received the harnesses and it is wired for a 3 wire alt. but has a 1 wire alt. Is there a way to convert my harness to a 1 wire system? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 64 Chevelle wiring question from a newbie
does your harness have the flat white connector? If so,the only wire that you need is the b+ wire(red 10 ga.) you can cut and seal the others. If you don't have this connector I am pretty sure you need it. you can pick one up at the local parts store or starter/alt. rebuilder. just solder or crimp to the b+ in the harness. remove or seal the small brown wire in the connector.
