We just purchased a 2004 suburban with a sunroof. Somehow the sunshade got pulled forward past the metal part that pulls the sunshade open and closed with the sunroof. When closing the sunroof, it pulls the sunshade towards the front so far that the handle slides in too far to grab. Now when we open the sunroof, the shade stays closed instead of moving back with the sunroof. We have tried to pull it back over the metal "slider" but can't get it pulled back far enough to catch. Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this or are we going to have to take it to a dealer to fix?
