door lock repair question

hello. my 2 doors both have a different problems with their locks. the passenger side ive been dealing with for a couple years now. when you lock it from the inside it wont stay locked half the time, its like somethings not getting pushed over far enough, when i lock it with the key its perfect. also if you slam the door its guaranteed to not stay locked, if locked from the inside. again, with the key its perfect

the drivers side problem just started the other day. the door wont unlock. its stuck locked. the only way i can open the door is to pull the lock into the unlock position and hold it there while i open the door handle. same when using the key.

ive never worked on door locks before so i was wondering if anyone has any ideas as to what the problem is, and how hard it would be to fix. also, how much you think a shop might charge for the repairs

thanks!
