95 Windstar engine miss to much fuel

I have a 95 Windstar, miss on cylinder 6, to much fuel runs out exhaust manifold. Compression 150, new injector, new wires, new plugs, if I raise the rpms the miss goes away, but at idle the fuel is way to much on this cylinder. Only code is for a miss fire. Any help would be greatly appreciated..

Did you take a look to the ignition coil condition ? cracked maybe or wrong for this cylinder?

Re: 95 Windstar engine miss to much fuel

I would look for a vacumm leak.

I had a similar problem in my 98 and it was a thin white plastic vaccum hose goiing to the evac system located on the firewall.

check all vacumm hoses PVC etc.

you may have to take off the cowl (wipers and the plastic and metal parts,) in order to see the hoses against the firewall
