Auto painting
I am looking to paint my integra a dark glossy grey. Is maaco worth going to? if not how much might it cost and wheres a good place in the sacramento area?

don't go to macco bud you will regret it they do shitty jobs. the paint will start flaking off in about 1 year. save up and get it painted by someone repsectable.
on a side note your pics for you sig are almost done.

What's up mog? Don't do it man, actually contrary to popular belief Maco can do nice paint jobs, just not for there advertised price of $199 or whatever price it is. They have higher prices for there better paint jobs but I still wouldn't trust them with my ride because there so used to putting cheap paint jobs on who knows what they'll do??? Its hard to find a good body shop unless you know someone who's actually gone there before. Paint jobs are one thing I know and going with a cheap paint job isn't the way to go. Its just like anything else you have to do your homework or you can get burned, good luck

woud it be worth doing just so u don't drive around in a primed car and just save up to get it done right?

Are you doing a color change? If so I wouldn't trust a paint shop that would charge me less than $1800 if its not a color change probably around $1400. Good paint is expensive but its worth it, cheap paint and paint jobs will chip easy, fade.

NO, it wouldn't be worth it because if you put a bad paint job on your car then when you go to put a good paint job the paint under it can still come off and theres nothing you can do about it. Unless you sand off all the old paint and that would be a pain. I've been painting for about 12 years now "Started when I was 12" so my 2 cents is do it right 1 time or you'll regrete it
