are the veichle speed sensors the same for a manual transmission and an automatic? - i have a 420a with now an nv-t350

I doubt they are. Compare part numbers on the advance website and see.

yeah i looked at the autozone pictures and the automatics have an input and an output speend sensor plug. so theres two plugs, now i have to find where to put my three wires from the manual tranny speed sensor into these two plugs. any body done that before? anything will help

Wait... So you have converted your 5spd into an auto?? The wiring harness is going to have to be changed for everything to work correctly.
