05 Camry sunroof adjustment

Just bought a 05 Camry Sport. The sunroof is slightly recessed. Our 04 had the same problem when we got it but factory warranty adjusted it.

Can anyone explain how I can adjust the roof myself to make it level with the roof?

Open this link to the "Factory Service Manual" thread at the top of the forum then select "Generation 5 (02-06)" Repair Manual. Wait for the files to appear (pdfs are slow) then select file 74. Go to page 74-7 for the reset procedure. Hope it helps.

I was able to run the reset process from the service manual, however this did not help with the lower level of sunroof from the roof line. It appears in the service manual it can be manually adjusted to get it even, I just can't see where. Any other ideas?

No. The bean is empty. I'd say bite the bullet and let the dealer look at it.
