Question Van ECU problem... Can't find it!

Hey everyone. I bought a mitsubishi Cargo Van about two years ago and it ran good at first. Then it had hard starts and sputtered some. One day it just didn't start (no spark), but the injecters spit fuel just fine. I checked continuity and replaced all ignition components.

Now I feel it is the ECU. If anyone has worked on one of these vans they know how weird everything is layed out. I just can't find the ECU anywhere, and have taken almost all of the dash etc out to locate it.

I've asked multiple Mitsubishi dealers and service centers, but most have not even seen a mitsubishi van.

If someone on here knows where it is. Please share. It's bugging me.

Thanks much,
Reagan

Exclamation Found it!

Dear Mr. Reagan,

Note that the ECM is located inside the lower end of the center post immediately behind the passenger side. This is the post between the front passenger door and the side slide door. You will need to remove the seat belt carrier ratchet to access the ECM.

Hope to have been of some help.
