Re: Help! Neutral Safety Switch
You can start the vehicle by removing the starter relay and crossing a wire from the starter relay to the hot battery post (with the ignition 'on'). There are 5 posts on the starter relay, you will have to try the socket one hole at a time to see which one will work.

I have had a NSS problem with my 88 forever. I simply keep a screwdriver handy and if it gets to where I cannot play around with it in park and/or neutral I just jump across the starter with the screwdriver. Super easy if you have a lift because it's right there under the truck. I know it's not a fix but i will surely start it for ya. Josh
