Yukon with no reverse

I have a 2003 Yukon with no reverse. Just wanted to know if anyone has ever had or heard of this issue before. I suspect just a reverse drum band?

Welcome to AF. Unit must come out, the the reaction sun shell and shaft are stripped, common issue, but not usually on the later units.
