98 starting problems

Help! My daughter's 98 neon is hard to start on the initial startup. Changed the plugs, cap wires, air filter etc. Even ran lucas injector cleaner. No codes come up on a 55, which is end of cycle, I believe. Any one got any suggestions.

My guess would be check your fuel system. Look for leaks after its been running for a little bit, if you dont see any leaks check your fuel filter

Are your battery connections clean and free or corrosion? Also make sure they are tightened down really well.

Don,t think it's electrical. New battery, clean connections. Turns over fine. Just seems to have a problem getting fuel on the initial start of the day! Haven't check the fuel pressure yet. After the first start, it runs like brand new. Go figure!!! Thanks for the response!!

No leaks that I can see. Filter is part of pump assy in that year. Hope it's not the pump. Need to check fuel at the throttle body.
