Are there any real working mechanics on here to answer questions,or is this forum just everyday people answering that know about cars too??

All of the above, This forum has helped me with my lumina. I am sure there are mechanics on here as wells as others who know alot about cars.

hey maxwedge,I'm new here,and was just wondering if this site was real with real mechanics,or everyday people that know about cars. The tone of the question and the lack of the reason for it prompted my response, there are many sites out there operated by pros that charge for info or require a subscription, we have some people here are that are just as qualified as these people are, donating time and info. To me it seemed there was a hint of dissatisfaction, if I was wrong, I stand corrected. So it is not a matter of " chill out".

im no mechanic, and i dont know a lot about cars. i just know alot about my car thru trial and error. basically i now own a brand new 16 year old car with 210,000 miles on it. new computer and front brakes today...
