Rough idle and hesitation 92 chevy 1500

I have a 1992 Chevy 1500 with a 350. I started it up the other day and it took about 4 trys before it stayed running. the idle drops to 200 rpm and then jumps to 1500 repeatedly, and when i try to excelerate it hesitates severely and i have no check engine light on... any ideas?

Did you find the problem? My 93' is doing the same things.

check your vaccum lines and try some sea foam.and i'd check gas pressure tested. how longs it been since you done a tune up? like air filter,gas filter, plugs,wires? if you havn't change plugs i'd do a cyl check if you got a guage. so how did you find out? did you have the fuel pressure checked?
