3000gt motor?

would the 3000gt motor fit in a 2000 v6 eclipse gt?

the heads are too big to clear the firewall inside the engine.

friends have a tendency to lie. There is no room. And why would he spend more than likely 3 grand or better on a cylinder head that won't net him more than 20hp when he could have turbocharged it for not much more?

not to mention, upon further review, the 3000gt 6g72tt engine would mount directly opposite to the eclipse, in which case it would simply be easier and much more cost effective to just buy a 3000gt with the twin turbo, and then you'd have that awesome thing called AWD.

that site is a lil off. the tt motor pushes 300-320hp and 300-315tq(depending on years)

honostly between purchase and install of the motor u can just get a 3000gt vr4(the tt). and like previously mentioned get awd, and possibly aws. a better place to have asked this would b in the 3000/stealth section. many of the guys there have rebuilt 3k motors along with others.

girly vr4 has worked with both eclipse and 3000's, she also works at a shop just for these cars
