I have a 2003 GMC Envoy and my front passenger window is not working properly. Early this morning I replaced the entire window regulator assembly - thinking the old one was bad - but it wasn't.
The window is up but I cannot control the window from the passenger side or the driver's side. I was told that the "switch" on the passenger's side was bad and/or the wiring on that side of the vehicle. The rear passenger and all other windows work just fine. Why can't I operate the window from the driver's side if the problem is contained to the passenger's side? I really appreciate any advice - this is my first post.

Re: 2003 Envoy Front Passenger Window Problem
Welcome to AF. It is possible the switch is bad on the l/s as every thing is powered from there, get a test lite on the motor and see if any juice to the r/h motor, if not usually the lt switch or wiring is an isssue.

Re: 2003 Envoy Front Passenger Window Problem
My repairman just verified that the switch is bad. Is there any chance that I could find it online cheaper than the dealer?
