out of control window

Why does my driver side window go out of control when I try to open it? It just went all the way down or all the way up when I push the open button? When I push down, it goes all the way down. When I push up, it goes all the way up. Why is it doing this? What can I do to fix this problem? It's really annoying. Please help. Thanks.

Re: out of control window

On my I35, it does the same thing, but it's supposed to do that and also allows you to control it in increments. (A little bit up or a little bit down. If it only allows you up or down, then something is wrong with the switch.
