2004 Impala SS Starting Problem
I have a 2004 Impala SS With 38,000 miles. Last night I was at work and went to start my car and drive my half a mile home. It would not start, kept shtting down. Almost sounded like a lawn mower engine on slow idle then would shut down. As long as I gave it gas it would stay on, so I got halfway home when I had to stop to go around a corner it shut down so started again and applied gas all the way home.
This morning woke up and went to start it and it started no problem, but I called dealership where I have a warranty anyways to let them know. The service dept. said to put the key to the on position for 20 minutes to let the car recongize the key. I did so and after doing that same thing that was happenening last night happened again. The dealership is sending a tow to pick it up, does anyone have any ideas what might be causing it? Thank You

Re: 2004 Impala SS Starting Problem
Many things can cause this, let them handle what ever the issue is.

Dealership called and told me they replaced the Mass Airflow Sensor, would that def. be causing issues I had?
