2005 Sierra Light Show

I have a 2005 Sierra 2500HD which throws quite a light show to the rear when the turn signal is activated. When either signal is activated all rear lights, including license plate lights, upper brake light, brake lights and turn signals, and four out of the six lights in the opposite mirror flash (2 top and 2 bottom), and both dash signal indicators illuminate (although one is brighter than the other). When the headlights are on and the brake is applied with the turn signal activated the signal stops and the amber lights to the rear burn steady. (at which time the dash signal indicators are illuminated dim), and the red brake lights are on but very dim. Thanks for any assistance!

Re: 2005 Sierra Light Show

A-you may have a floating ground caused from a bad trailor conector (full of damp dust-dirt or bare wires) or the ground wire is off. B-check all the lights to see if there all test good, or C- a wire broken or shorting in the colum. keep us posted. 463
