A/C Compressor

Would anyone know if the a/c compressor from a 96 Regal; 3.1 engine; would fit a 95 LeSabre with a 3.8 engine. Thanks

Re: A/C Compressor

No, they are not compatible from I what I can tell. The 96 Regal uses the V5 compressor while the 95 LeSabre uses the HD6 compressor.

Re: A/C Compressor

Also, just to point the '96 Regal uses two different variations of the Delco/Harrison V5 variable displacement compressor. The 3.1L and 3.8L equipped compressors have different dimensions, form factor, mounting and as a result part numbers.
