Re: Rubber Coating
I'm trying to imagine what rubber you're talking about..
There's black rubber skins over the steering wheel buttons for stereo, cruise control, etc. Those aren't replaceable.. Mike has been trying to solve this problem for quite awhile. These are imprinted with the buttons' function. ![]() ![]() Same with the keyless entry door keypad. ![]()

Re: Rubber Coating
Yup, thats them.. its like a rubber coating I thought, b/c I got a set out of a 95 last week that they were all chewed up. You could see the rubber flaking off... I didn't realize that they were skins...

Re: Rubber Coating
I've havn't had the opertunity to disassemble one yet.. I imagine their 'like' a remote control skin that just falls off when the case is opened..
The question of the century is, where do you get new skins Hey, I know.. think back.. way back.. as kids (six bros, and a sis) we had a creature maker set.. with gooo and dies. You poured the gooo into the die and when it set you peeled out a creature.
