Re: noise from wheel or front end

I have a 2004 Malibu and had the same noise. Took it in two weeks ago and it needed a new tie rod end and new steering shaft. Luckily I have an extended warrenty or it would have cost 1000.00.

Re: noise from wheel or front end

yea could be a driveshaft or tierod end or ball joint or somethin....also could be struts mount bearings..heres how to check it..with the car on the ground and idling in park..put a hand on each of the front springs and have another person sitting behind the whell turn the whell back and forth ..if you feel a jumping like the spring binds up then releases then its your strut mount bearings...while turning the wheel back and forth the spring should be smooth...if thats not it bring it to a arage to get your front end checked as soon as possible...could be dangerous
