2001 Tib starting problem Camshaft or Crank Sensor?

Car sometimes will not start, cranks but doesn't start. I've eliminated the Plugs, wires and coil pack. The Hyundai tech site says the only thing left is the camshaft position sensor (no mention of the crank sensor), however seaching the web and various Hyundai forums, it seems the crankshaft position sensor may be the culprit.

Does anyone know how to check these components for proper operation. I've disconnected both and reconnected them, but want to be sure which one is the culprit.

The Crank sensor seems to need a large socket like 24mm or bigger to remove. The Camshaft sensor is simple
