Ok heres the deal guys my sister has a 2002 Venture with the 3.4. Her radiator has sprung a leak it is on the passenger side of the radiator about 3 inches up from the bottom and it is the quick connect deal. Does anyone know if these can be replaced or where to get one or if ya can do away with it and install like a ordinary draincock or something. Has anyone had this problem and if so what did ya do to resolve it? Any pictures of this STUPID QUICK CONNECT would be appreciated.

This is the price but the picture isn't showing up good. They sell a lot of tools for various jobs most of it is warranted but you have to ship it back. Parts stores sell them. You can use search and find about anything you need. |

Re: Radiator Quick-connect
the plastic cap pops off then you take a pair of needle nose pliers and pull snap ring out.the line pulls straight out.the plastic side tanks can be replaced on the radiator instead of replacing the whole radiator. i think they cost about $160.00 .when you get it repaired push the line back in put the snap ring in ,make sure its seated. slide the cap back on to keep dirt out of the fitting.when you pop the plastic cap off lift on one side then the other till it moves then push it back on the line.the snap ring is simular to a doorhandle snapring
