2000 Astro code P0107

I spent a day futzing under the doghouse. Replaced the distributor rotor and cap, plugs and wires and cleaned the gunk out of the throttle body as suggested. Cleared a rat's nest out from behind the distributor. Apparently I have a coolant leak in the intake gasket as I have a small amount running along the inboard side of the right valve cover and down the rear of the engine (I see that in the forum a lot) so I'll be back in there, soon enough. O2 sensors on order and I'll look into the ABS sensors when I can borrow a large enough socket for the hub nut. Thanks for all the info on the site, helps quite a bit.

Afterwards, it runs smooth except for a long-delayed shift when I stand on it. I get an 0107 code now with every start. I picked up a Launch Creader code reader from Harbor Freight on a forum suggestion (thanks) and it clears the code each time I use it, but it just displays the SAE and MFG's codes without the first position letter (so I'm guessing it's 'P').

Blue Bowtie suggested I check the vaccuum line running across the engine, but that was all rubber and appeared to be in good shape. I'm wondering if the code has to do with the second sensor on the throttle body (the first would be the throttle position sensor) - I removed it to clean the buildup in the well, it was a little stiffer than I expected it to be, no movement on light pressure. REAL dirty.

Anyway, if that sensor is supposed to be free to move in and out with just a little pressure, I need to change it. If it's suposed to have resistance, maybe it's something else?

Still can't post a picture, so I'm looking for those instructions.

Thanks for the help.
