1964 Chevy Impala Lowrider(lots of pictures)

Hi! I'm new on in this forum! First I want you all to know that I'm estonian and my English language skill is not good.
I have visited this forum many times and i think i should post my work in this forum too.
I have worked with that model car about half or 3/4 year.
Ok, let's take a look on some pictures.
When i got that kit:

First progress: engine is half done:

Engine finished:

Frame:

Trunk with pumps, batteries, pre-amp and my own made pump hoses

Wheels:

Undercarriage:

Exhausts:

Grill:

Lowrider Club Nameplate:

Undercarriage completed:

Firewall and core support

Steering wheel

Engine bay completed:

Body painted with airbrush. I used Zero Paints Mica Pearl Blue and Pearl white

With decals:

Dry fit:

And final progress is body. Its clear coated, polished and waxed. I used BMF on side trims and later on window trims, but window trims look like rubbish because somehow my BMF is f**ked up.

and window trims:

I hope i didnt put too much pictures .

Well, I'm a big fan of lowriders ... and that is a great job! Lets see some more of your work. I really like your paint job and your attention to detail. Your work is very clean. I'm just curious -- how much did you pay for that kit in Estonia?

It's impossible to get good model-kits in Estonia, because there is no shop that sells model-kits. We only have some German Revell model-kits in supermarkets. If Estonian model-fans wanna buy a good model-kit, then they have to look into Ebay or somewhere else(modelexpress.net, R10, Hiroboy.com...), where you can order that kind of stuff.
I got it from Ebay .

(I hope you understood what i just said, I really thinked hard to write this post, because my english is very bad )

Edit:Oh, i forgot to say, how much did it cost. Impala was about 14 US dollars and with shipping i think it was about 35-45 US dollars.

Picture of the box is quite bad, so you cant see, how bad is that model car on box. I looked once that picture on the box and I saw that decals are putted on very bad, whitewall decals on the tires are very bad and there was a picture about trunk on the side of box, I have to say that it was most terrible trunk I have ever seen in Impala.

Sorry again for my bad English

Re: 1964 Chevy Impala Lowrider(lots of pictures)

Sorry guys, I forgot to post some update ! This is old update, I did it in the beginning of summer, after that i've done nothing, right now I'm waiting my bmf, what should arrive soon!

Interior: Needs only some bmf work! This is dry fit and I didnt put front seats because they wont stand up without glue

Backlights: those were BIG pain in the a**!
