boss 429 info

I was reading the old post,and wanted to add some info. In 1969 there were 859 total made,including 2 boss cougars. In 1970 there were 500 made including 1 called the quarterhorse,70 mustang boss with a shelby front clip. There was never a c6 automatic available in any boss mustang. the only boss mustang that had a automatic in it was the tasca super boss,and they put it in the car. all of them had 9 inch rears and the toploader 4 speed,the boss 302,s and the boss351,s all had the small spline toploaders and the boss 429,s had the big spline toploaders. the shocktowers were modified by a company called KARKRAFT. The interior was the same as the mach1,s.
