Customizing my Avatar

Hey I am trying to put an avatar under my screenname. I have a picture that I had taken with a digital camera and saved in "My Pictures." I try to apply this pic but it said it was too big. I finally figured out how to get it down to 100 x 100 and saved it. It still did not work b/c it said the file was too big. So after an hour of playing around I figured out how to compress it! It said the file started out at 15.7 Kb, after I compressed the pic, the program said it would only be 4.6 Kb. I saved that and tried to post that but AF says the picture's file size is still 15.7 Kb. I am pretty much illiterate when it comes to computers so I need a lot of help!!! What am I doing wrong here and why can't I use this picture!

Re: Customizing my Avatar

It is saved as a JPEG image. Don't know if that is what you were looking for or not.

That would be amazing! Except I am having trouble figuring out how to get the picture in the PM.

Re: Customizing my Avatar

There you go, I resized the image and added it as your avatar. If you'd rather you can have one with the pic cropped and zoomed. Like this:

Re: Customizing my Avatar

Awwww. . . That is too bad! They do need a lot of exercise! Mine acutally ate half of my couch and two sets of blinds before I figured out he was bored. Now I take him on a 45 min. walk in the morning and a 30 min bike ride when the sun goes down. Without the constant exercise he walks around in circles and whines all day long! Although he does still dig up holes in the yard. The breed is just prone to dig I suppose!

Re: Customizing my Avatar

yep but for a big dog they need a lot of exercise and i just dont think he's getting enough. Probably not the breed for them its a bit sad really.

also supposedly if you ever let them off their lead they just go for miles and youre lucky to get them back
