PW0 chip into a PR3 ECU????

Ok, all you B16 dudes, will a PW0 chip (Feels) fit into my new PR3 ECU? If it does, do I need the little chip holder thing that the chip sits on that is in my old (PW0) ECU? If not I was thinking of gettin a PR3 chip, probly Mugen one off of ebay for $25. I found a Mugen chip (one for my PR3) that makes Vtec kick in at 3900 RPM.

What should (can) be done?

PW0 will not fit on PR3. WHy you want the v-tec to kick in at 3900? You gonna lose power. Pr3 is a better ecu anyways. IF you gonna get that chip you better get urself a v-tec controller and set it up the v-tec higher than 3900.

In my last ECU (Pw0), I put in a after market chip (Feels). It made Vtec kick in at 4800 instead of the stock 5400 RPM. I noticed a BIG differeance with that put in. Everyone knows a B16 is nothing untill Vtec kicks in. Right now, when I punch the gas, I have to wait a while (5400 RPM) till the motor get a decent amout of acceleration. The earlier Vtec kicks in, the better acceleration I get... without a Vtec controller for now.

Yeh but you said 3900. That is way too early for the v-tec to kick in. Either way chip ecu is not gonna make big difference. Sure you gonna feel the v-tec kick in hard but it aint shit on a stock motor unless you got some major shit done to it. The only reason i want one is because i dont like the speed govern at 115 mph!

What kind of chip do you recomend? What would be the best range for Vtec to engage using a chip? Shoul I just find a chip that makes it kick in at 4800 like the last one? I was pretty pleased with that 4800 RPM Vtec kick-in. Let me know.

4800 is ok but i'd still get the v-tec controller. its not good to have ur v-tec on all the time when cruising. Make sure u get the one with the rev limiter at like 9700? SOmewhere around there but dont take it up that high though.
