grinding noise while driving

Hey guys,

A while ago I noticed that if my wheel were turned to the left a little bit even from straight I would hear a grinding noise. The noise pulses depending on the speed I am going, and the rotation speed of the tires. The faster I go the higher frequency of the cha cha cha noise. Any ideas what could be causing it? Thanks.

Can a rotor that needs griding down cause this? How bad is it to let it go for a long period of time unfixed?

what would cause a warped rotor? how could you prevent it from happening again if it is the case? what are the odds of it being the CV joint?

The most common cause of a warped rotor in my area is over torqued lugnuts. From useing an impact wrench and over torqueing the lugnuts. Getting the rotors really hot can warpe them too.
