Voiding warrenty?

Hey guys - I was wondering if an intake, exhaust, headers, lowering.. etc would void a warrenty? If so, which? And what other kinds of shit will?

Got that cleared up w/ local Honda dealer. Just bolting them on won't void the warranty. It works like this. If you blow your motor by sucking water in your cold air, your warranty won't cover it. If you bottom out a shock and blow it because you lowered your car than it won't be covered. It may vary but that's how it works here.

If you can install everything yourself, than just take the stuff off whenever you go to the dealer for warranty work.

i don't know how much time you have on your hands but why would you want to have to do this?

i say before you buy anything like that go to the dealership and ask for yourself to make sure.

just for the record it will void your warrentee. i know someone who works at a honda dealer and he even said so himself that it will. my friend has a 2001 but since he knows this guy too it " doesn't " void the warrentee.

It's different for each dealer. My friend is a certified Honda tech and what I stated in the previous post is how it works here. Just check with your local Honda dealer. No one has the answer but them.

A lot of dealers will install the after market parts and it will not void the warantee... The Labor is coverd also, but the parts obviously is not. but labor will cost an arm and a leg cause its a dealership and they do shit like that..
