97 towncar no headlights

all of a sudden I have No leadlights on auto or maneul and no daytime runnig lights all other lights work

You must check the obvious first, a VOM will suffice:

Bulbs and Fuses:

• Bulbs
• #4 (10A)
• #6 (10A)
• #15 (15A) or Circuit Breaker 12 in the fuse junction panel.

REPLACE any open bulb(s), fuse(s) or circuit breaker as required.

The Multi-function Switch, and LCM are next.....

Checked all fuses and Circuit Breaker all are good another thing is hi beam light on dash does not work eather.

More then likely you Turn signal stalk needs to replaced. Happened to me.

Find any 1995-1997 Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis/Town Car turn signal stalk at the junkyard and take it (certain trim levels do not have chrome on them FYI). Its a simple job, maybe 20 minutes if you have to fight the column adjust lever.
