What to look for (Used 1993 V6 Ext.)
A guy my sister knows is selling his 1993 V6 4x4 5spd Dodge Dakota Extended Cab for 1200$. I have seen pictures of the truck and it is cosmetically in pretty fair condition, however, this makes me more suspisious as to why he's selling it for so cheap. It does have 255 000Km's but he insists nothing is in immediate need of repair. Is the Dakota known to break down in its later stages or could this be a legitimate deal? Also I am viewing/ test driving it in a few days and i was wondering if there is anything i should check out or test? Thanks!

Ball joints seem to be a required replacement, but with that age and milegae you'd have to think they've been done once, at least. For that mileage she shouldn't pay much for it or have unreasonable expectations--it at the end of it's useful life.
