Is there any way I can get pearls orange/red/blue with airbrush???

Is there any way I can get pearl orange/red/blue with airbrush??? I'm dying to get a pearl orange paint job like the one signal-auto uses on their drag civic. For people who use airbrushs often, is it possible to get pearl colors such as orange, red, black, blue???

Check out a complete line of pearls including every color you mentioned at http://www.paintwithpearl.com
You can make your own candy pearls, ghost flames, flake jobs.
The orange pearl you ask about is probably a gold pearl on an orange base coat.

There are like a million ways you could get a orange pearl paintjob.
I think I know what you want, here´s how I´d do it:

1. Primer
First you do all the necessary prep work and prime it.

2. Silver
Next step is to lay down the right base color for the orange to "pop" up a bit more, if you follow this guide you will have a "kandy" effect aswell (if you don´t like the kandy effect you should skip this part). Pick your favorite SILVER paint and shoot over the whole body.

3. Clear orange with or without orange pearl pigments
Now it´s time for the orange, I´d chose Tamiya clear orange (now available in TS cans!) and decant some from a can or use the acrylic stuff right from the jar. Either mix some orange pearl pigments directly in the clear orange or wait until the clear orange has cured and it´s time for a clear. Shoot clear orange until you´re happy with the brightness of the color.

4. Clearcoat without or with orange pearl pigments
Depending on which method you chosed, now load the airbrush with a clear and add the orange pearl into it (obviously not necessary if everything worked out good with the other method) and shoot all over the body. If it worked out fine and you´re happy with the result of method nr. 1 then just clearcoat as normal instead of adding the pigments, polish and vóila, a pretty orange pearl paintjob!

5. Final (optional) clearcoat
If you mixed the pigments in your clearcoat you will need to shoot another coat of clear to bring out the shine.

Hope this was any help!

Lemme know how it goes alright?!
