1996 Explorer lower ball joint movement specs?

Does anyone know the factory specs for vertical movement of the lower ball joint in 1996 Ford Explorer?

I don't know that there is a spec. As far as I know, any play in the joint means the ball joint is worn and needs to be replaced.
