Guess what happened ....

I had my brake pads installed 2 months ago (brand new) and I have to change them very very soon because they're already all gone. Does anyone have any suggestions about some good sport brakes pads for a 95 Maxima ???? Is it possible to use the brakes so hard that the pads are finished after 2 months ??? My car had an alignment done when summer started and it was ok, then I installed my brake pads and my car started to drive to the right when I was accelerating fast. What should I check ??? I guess my hardcore turning habit is bad for just normal brakes. How much are the metal brake lines ???? Can anyone point out a good deal on that ??? Thanx guys .

Technically, if you drive your car hard daily, I can possible see you wasting your breaks that fast. But then I would also have to see what types of pads you are using. Try and go for something sportier that has more metal in it. Not sure which ones to purchase that are out there, but when buying them, ask for ones that have a longer life span under hard driving.

2 monthson the life of the brake pad is somewhat unbelievable even driving it hard I though it will last for 30k.

I'm thinking they should've lasted longer than that, even with HARD braking daily. You might have something else going on there, dude! Take black019's advice and get some kevlar, or some kinda metal/asbestos hybrid. And get those darned rotors turned, too!! Doesn't help if you get new pads and your rotors look like the Grand Canyon!!

Well

I just had some ceramic brakes installed and they rock. It wasnt cheap but I could feel the diffrence right away. My disks are almost brand new. Had em for 2 1/2 months too. Well, my driving habits are really bad. I'm doing 110mph on the highway for 60 miles almost everyday. Then when I see a suspicious car i have to brake from 110mph to 80 in less then 6 seconds. The pads did have some metal in them because they were making noise. Not with the ceramic pads, no noise, little brake dust and it's not even black dust, hard to see.
