Driver Information Center (DIC) trouble!!

Hello, I have a 1997 GTP in which sometimes the (DIC) goes blank when the heater is turned on. The display reads "LOW" in large letters. Then it returns back to normal after a little while. What does the LOW mean? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Driver Information Center (DIC) trouble!!

"LOW", when everything is working means low on fuel.

Seems to me like almost a flaky ignition switch. Wait for Bob or Rich to confirm that before you take my advice and replace a not needed part.

Welcome to AF MarmarGTP,

I agree Tim. The OP's symptoms are classic ignition switch/harness assembly problems.

MarmarGTP, there is a replacement proceedure in the tips and maintenance sub-forum if you want to try to tackle it yourself.

I am having a similar problem in a '98 GTP. Did the ignition switch fix the problem?
